This organization connects women with resources, people, and organizations who can help start their path toward public service. Nominate a woman you know, using their “Ask a Woman to Run” program. Or plan for your own future in public service using the “She Should Run Incubator.”

Emily’s List

Emily’s List recruits and helps women run for office at the state and local level, offering training opportunities, webinars, and other resources. Look into running yourself or support others who have chosen to run.

Run for Something

Run for Something aims to recruit and support talented, passionate millennials who are interested in running for office and advocating for progressive values now and for the next 30 years.


This organization has launched a campaign for Muslims to train and run for local office.


Wellstone provides training and resources for anyone interested in gaining practical skills in progressive political action.
